By drawing legislative provisions relating to electrical systems for building, introduced by law n. 46/1990, now repealed by decree n° 37 dated January 22, 2008, and its implementing regulation, the legislator intended to raise users, installers, designers, job supervisors and system testers awareness.

Therefore, introduction of a declaration of conformity is functional to such will of “accountability”. Its specific purpose is to certify technical validity of works performed by the company that, therefore, is obliged to deliver such document to clients.

Law no. 46/90, today MD 37/08, contains installation safety rules. This main law in the installation sector defines roles and requirements of installers and engineers enabled to design, manage and test the different types of installations.
